After a year of exploring the moscow bar scene Ozzie Blunts and Basel Gomez started looking for a bass player to start what soon after would be JoinTrip. It started as a trio with Nikita Bondarenko on bassand mostly focused on Blues and psychedelic rock with a repertoire that only included covers of this genre. Shortly after the band starts driving towards recording original material. In this period Alejandro Delgado joins the band sharing the frontman/guitarist role with Ozzie, as well as the songwriting/ arrangements responsibilities. After its first release “The Sticker’’, in collaboration with Alex Soloviev, JoinTrip starts shaping its sound that mixes American blues and rock with afro cuban soulful vibes. At this point what started as a trio already became a solid rock band leaded by cuban rockers. It can sometimes be seen playing in different formats depending on the location and repertoire. The band has performed in over 20 cities and many blues and rock festivals around russia and already has 5 singles released. This boys are so versatile that can be seen playing many different programs and the band shapes its sound depending on the occasion. They go from classic blues or psychedelic rock, to heavy metal or grunge, from the majesty of Pink Floyd to the simplicity of AC/DC, or can even take you dancing with cuban flavoured tunes.
